DuPont PVF Coating Technology Principle
Simon PVF coated metal panels use DuPont PVF (polyvinyl fluoride) material, and through independent R&D successfully transformed into coating technology, combining PVF coating with metal substrate to form a dense protective layer.
PVDF material contains about 30% plasticizers such as acrylic, which cannot withstand long-term sun exposure and has weak corrosion resistance. PVF material contains no plasticizers and is the most UV-resistant, anti-aging, and corrosion-resistant material among fluororesin materials. PVF material gives the coating excellent chemical corrosion resistance, UV aging resistance and weather resistance.
